Sariah was incredibly bright, attending one of Perth's top academic and music schools. Unfortunately her mental health struggles made it impossible for her to finish high school. In 2020 Sariah enrolled at Curtin Uni, however once again student life was not to be. According to Sariah it took too much time and impacted her social life (beach time). After one semester and some thought provoking essays, Sariah dropped out.
Sariah wrote this reflective piece for submission along with an assignment. In it, she looks back at her struggles with her own
identity, racial discrimination, and whether this course may have changed her views.
