We provide practical support and compassionate care to vulnerable and marginalised people, helping to ease suffering, reduce isolation, and restore dignity and wellbeing.
Chapter 29 Limited provides benevolent relief and practical support to vulnerable and marginalised people in Australia who are experiencing distress, despair, or misfortune. This includes people living with disability, immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and survivors of domestic and family violence.
We offer therapeutic services, mental health workshops, and wellbeing activities delivered by qualified program facilitators and/or mental health professionals to reduce loneliness and emotional distress. We also provide funding for educational equipment, tuition fees, essential living items, and care packs to ease hardship and improve wellbeing.
Through online and in-person programs, conversations, and gatherings delivered with qualified program facilitators and/or mental health professionals, we create spaces where people can share their stories, connect with others, and feel supported. By fostering community and belonging, Chapter 29 helps people overcome isolation, build resilience, and regain hope.

Chapter 29 creates safe, facilitated spaces where participants can share lived experiences of challenge, change, and recovery. By expressing their stories in their own words, participants can process emotions, support healing, and make meaning of experiences that have caused distress or disruption.
We work in partnership with mental health services, community support agencies, peer support organisations, and lived-experience networks to promote the Storytelling Program to individuals who would benefit from supported narrative expression and peer connection.

Through guided conversations and shared storytelling, Chapter 29 strengthens mental wellbeing and resilience by fostering connection, compassion, and a sense of belonging. Conversation events may include lived experience speakers, facilitated discussions, opportunities for audience reflection, and participation from relevant support agencies.
Together, these elements amplify lived experience voices, promote understanding and empathy, reduce stigma, encourage help-seeking, and strengthen connections to community support services, helping participants feel supported and less isolated.

Chapter 29 Limited provides more than a platform for sharing stories. We offer benevolent support by connecting people in distress with safe, supportive services and resources. Through our directory of supports, individuals can access relevant help when they need it most.
We also provide practical resources for download to assist individuals, carers, and loved ones. These resources are designed to support wellbeing, reduce isolation, and help people navigate difficult circumstances or safely share their lived experiences.

Chapter 29 Connect Groups are peer-led, facilitated programs for people living with disability, mental health conditions, or social isolation. They provide a safe, welcoming space to reduce loneliness, ease emotional distress, and strengthen resilience.
Designed to be engaging, creative, and enjoyable, the activities use fun and connection as tools for healing. Developed with an Occupational Therapist, sessions support skills such as cognition, coordination, emotional regulation, patience, problem-solving, and resilience.
We acknowledge all traditional custodians of the lands and waters of Australia and the Torres Strait, and we recognise their continuing connection to land, sea, culture and community. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and we particularly acknowledge the Wadjuk people of the Noongar nation, the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
To create a compassionate and inspiring online community where individuals can share life-changing chapters, and foster connection, hope, and support through shared experiences.
